1. General Provisions
1.1. The OPERATING RULES clearly define the regulations, rights, and obligations of all visitors to the golf resort.
1.2. The course includes three 9-hole courses – Taylor, Braid, and Vardon – located within the Black Stork area, each with a par of 36 (i.e. tee boxes, fairways, greens, and other areas), a driving range, practice areas (putting and chipping greens), paths, and rest areas.
1.3. The resort premises include the golf courses, parking areas, golf reception, adjacent buildings, main entrance to the premises, access roads, walkways, and the maintenance area.
1.4. Resort visitors are golf players and their companions, attendees of events held in the resort, individuals passing through the area, and other persons, including members of the Lomnica Golf Club (hereafter referred to as "resort visitors").
1.5. The operator of the resort is Asset Inter s.r.o., which ensures the operation and maintenance of the golf course through its authorized employees and staff.
1.6. These OPERATING RULES represent regulations set by the resort operator. By entering the premises, every individual unconditionally agrees to abide by these rules.
1.7. Players and their companions are permitted to access the course only in appropriate golf attire that respects general and local standards (including suitable footwear).
2. Entry to the Course
2.1. Entry to the resort's courses is subject to a fee. Every player must personally register at the golf reception before starting their game. Fees must be paid prior to play. The reception staff may request identification via a Slovak Golf Association (SKGA) card or another valid ID.
2.2. Foreign nationals or Slovak citizens residing abroad may be allowed to play without presenting an HCP or green card. However, if the marshall or course manager deems a player unfit to play, they are authorized to ask the player to leave the course.
2.3. Golf reception staff record player data with the player’s consent for the operator to process personal data in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll., as amended, for the purpose of operating the golf course, to the extent necessary for player identification.
2.4. Players must present proof of payment for play upon request from the marshall. Club members must show valid identification. Failure to comply may result in removal from the course.
2.5. The operating hours of the course, reception, and practice areas vary by season and weather conditions. Players are advised to check the current hours on the resort’s website or in person at reception. Operating hours are also posted at the golf reception entrance.
2.6. Players and their companions enter the course at their own risk. They must behave considerately and in a way that does not endanger themselves or others. They must also avoid damaging resort property or the property of others.
2.7. Visitors not playing golf or not officially registered as player companions are not allowed on the course without permission from the golf reception or course marshall.
2.8. Children under 10 years may only play when accompanied by an adult (exceptions apply for tournaments specifically for players under 10).
2.9. Both players and non-players are strictly forbidden from picking up any golf balls other than their own on the playing areas. Entering the driving range landing area is prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to collect or remove range balls, play on the course with range balls, or take range balls outside the resort. Anyone violating this must compensate the operator for damages and may be expelled by the marshall or security service and disciplined by the club’s disciplinary committee.
2.10. Entry into restricted or out-of-play areas is strictly forbidden to both players and non-players.
2.11. Outside of operational hours and without a valid tee time, entering the course is prohibited except in cases permitted by the operator. Movement within the resort is allowed only along marked paths.
3. Responsibilities of Visitors
3.1. Visitors must follow safety rules throughout the resort and avoid endangering other visitors, individuals, or animals outside the resort.
3.2. Visitors must follow instructions from marshalls, greenkeepers, and other staff, and respect all signage and warning boards on the course. Violations may lead to expulsion and disciplinary review.
3.3. All visitors acknowledge that golf is being played in the resort and there is a risk of injury from golf balls. If the visitor ignores staff instructions or warning signs, the operator is not liable for any injury incurred.
3.4. Players must follow golf rules, golf etiquette, and local rules listed on the “Score Card” of each course. Violations may result in expulsion from play without refund.
3.5. When playing without full visibility or if other players are within range, players must ensure that their actions do not cause harm or damage. Players must play at a steady pace according to the time standards indicated on the “Score Card”.
3.6. Only trainers with valid contracts with the resort operator are authorized to provide golf lessons, according to the official price lists for the given year.
3.7. Players must repair divots, fix pitch marks, and rake bunkers they enter. These reminders are posted throughout all three courses.
3.8. Players must not disturb others with excessive noise, mobile phone use, or behavior inconsistent with golf etiquette or common decency.
3.9. The resort is monitored by CCTV for the protection of the operator’s property. Only authorized staff have access to camera recordings.
4. Other Provisions
4.1. Outside the operating hours of the courses, the movement of persons on the course areas is prohibited, except for maintenance staff. Bathing or any hunting activities are prohibited in the water reservoirs of the course.
4.2. It is prohibited to leave children under 10 years unattended anywhere in the resort area. Leaving children unattended on the courses is strictly forbidden.
4.3. Free movement of dogs and other domestic animals in the resort area is prohibited. Animals may only move within the resort area on a leash. Visitors may bring animals on a leash to practice areas as well. Animals must not disturb others, e.g., by barking, making loud noises, or interfering with other visitors. Owners are required to clean up after their animals. Entry of animals into the course areas, restaurants, reception, and club house is only allowed with prior consent of the responsible employees of these facilities.
4.4. Any adjustments, moving of advertising stands, machinery, informational or boundary equipment, or other equipment are prohibited for all visitors.
4.5. In designated areas of the golf courses, no other sports activities are allowed except golf and footgolf.
4.6. Parking of visitor vehicles is allowed only in designated parking areas. The parking lot is not guarded, and the operator is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles or belongings left inside.
4.7. Lockers for storing personal belongings are located in the locker rooms near the golf reception. These lockers are only intended for storing civilian clothing and usual personal items that visitors cannot carry during play. They are not to be used for valuables or other high-value items not normally worn. The operator is not responsible for loss or damage of valuables or other high-value items. Golf bags and trolleys can be stored in the caddy room only with the permission of the golf reception.
4.8. Visitors behaving inappropriately or under the influence of alcohol or narcotics/psychotropic substances may be excluded from the golf resort area by marshals or other responsible representatives of the operator.
4.9. Visitors are fully responsible for any damage caused to persons or property within the resort area or its surroundings through their actions.
4.10. Visitors must maintain order within the golf course area. A strict ban applies to littering cigarette butts and other trash anywhere in the area, on all open spaces, and grass surfaces.
4.11. Vulgar behavior or behavior endangering the health and life of marshals, reception staff, other employees, visitors, or players is considered a serious violation of the OPERATIONAL RULES and may result in expulsion from the resort.
4.12. Visitors and LGK club members must comply with these OPERATIONAL RULES, instructions of the course operator, and safety, hygiene, and fire protection rules. Violations of these rules, SKGA competition, handicap, or golf etiquette rules may result in expulsion from the resort without refund of any fees.
4.13. Repeated violations by a visitor or LGK member of the OPERATIONAL RULES and other provisions under 4.12 may result in denied access to the resort area. LGK members may also be expelled from the club per the club’s statutes.
4.14. The operator and authorized employees have the right to restrict or entirely prohibit public access to the resort area to protect health and prevent damage to property or in case of private events for invited guests only.
4.15. Players and visitors use the resort facilities at their own risk and are responsible for damages caused by violating these OPERATIONAL RULES. Any damages or accidents must be reported immediately to the reception or responsible persons.
4.16. The operator is not responsible for damage to equipment or personal belongings brought into the resort area.
5. Organizational Measures for Players and Their Accompanying Persons
5.1. Players must register in person at the golf reception ideally 15 minutes before their tee time. Playing without registration is not allowed.
5.2. Accompanying non-playing persons and domestic animals must be reported during registration.
5.3. Players start at the scheduled tee time and should be on the first tee at least 10 minutes prior. Late arrival may result in the marshal moving the player to start at a later hole.
5.4. It is essential to respect the designated order of holes and marshal/reception instructions regarding tee-offs from holes 1, 10, or 19.
5.5. In case of slow play, marshals may ask slow groups to move after prior warning.
5.6. Each player may play with a maximum of one ball (except provisional). Multiple balls require informing the marshal.
5.7. Each player must have their own bag; sharing bags is prohibited.
5.8. Players must maintain pace of play at all times.
5.9. Fast groups do not have automatic priority; advance is allowed only by marshal or mutual agreement.
5.10. A single player may not demand priority and restrict other players.
6. Safety Measures
6.1. In case of thunderstorms (or threat thereof), players and visitors must immediately stop play or training and move to protected resort areas, even without siren signals. Visitors must stop play immediately when the siren sounds.
6.2. All incidents (injuries, damage or loss of items in lockers) and any damage to course or property must be reported immediately.
6.3. A first aid kit is available at reception, equipped per regulations.
6.4. Visitors must behave considerately and not endanger their own or others’ health or cause damage.
7. Use of Golf Carts
When renting a golf cart, users must comply with:
7.1. Payment must be made before play at reception.
7.2. Minimum driver age is 16; rental allowed only for people over 18.
7.3. Driving under influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.
7.4. Maximum 2 persons per cart.
7.5. Carts may only be driven on paved roads or fairways; on wet courses only on cart paths. For par-3 holes, only paved roads.
7.6. Drivers must follow on-course and in-cart information regarding cart restrictions.
7.7. If no cart path near the green, carts must stay at least 30 meters away.
7.8. Drivers must keep safe speeds.
7.9. Drivers are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by cart use and must report malfunctions immediately.
7.10. Carts must be parked and keys returned where rented.
7.11. Cart use is limited to resort area.
7.12. Violations of 7.1–7.11 may result in cart withdrawal and expulsion without refund.
7.13. Private carts are allowed only after payment of fees and agreement with the operator.
8. Effectiveness
8.1. This OPERATIONAL RULES of the golf resort are valid and effective from August 1, 2024.

Lomnický Golf Club, o.z., as a sports organization operating within the Black Stork Golf Resort, is a party bound by the rules set forth in this Operational Rules.
